Description (partial)

Symptom:
The Snort 3 Intrusion policy detection is not honoured traffic is always blocked.

Conditions:
This issue would be caused only when we override the existing Snort 3 IPS rules for a configured IPS policy and use  Detection as the mode ( default mode : prevention )
