Description (partial)

Symptom:
Some protocols like LDP require interactions with Event Manager. In Highly scaled environments (e.g. over 1000 LDP sessions with aggressive timers) we can see delay in these communications leading to protocol flaps.

Currently EVM initiates epoll_wait and processes only single item even for a grant for multiple File Descriptors.
This creates a delay as epoll_wait has to re-run number of times equal to initial number of items to process.

Batch processing will help to run multiple events at a time once grant for FD is given.

Conditions:
High scale protocol deployment ? e.g. LDP (>1000 sessions with aggressive timers (10/30 or 15/45))

APP requests long list (1000-2000) of FD's to access through event manager
