Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

The snmpd service configured in Prime Infrastructure may crash periodically. Before the crash, the following message can be seen in the logs: "truncating integer value > 32 bits"

Prime Infrastructure has the "snmpd" service configured ("service snmpd status" under shell shows the service active)

The service will restart after configuring a SNMP community using: "snmp-server community" command. This will allow Prime Infrastructure to answer to SNMP queries again after a crash.
