Last Modified

Nov 26, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Tetration Workload Security

Known Affected Releases

3.3(2.2) 3.3(2.5)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
3.3.2.2 / 3.3.2.5 AIX Deep Visibility / Enforcing agents require GNU tools seq to create bpf devices in agent chroot. If an AIX host system is missing GNU tools, the agent post install script will fail to create the devices and interfaces will show no flows.

Fix: Install GNU Tools (With Seq)
The Next release of AIX agent will remove GNU seq dependency.

Conditions:
Only Tetration AIX Deep Visibility and Enforcing agents versions 3.3.2.2 and 3.3.2.5 are affected.
