Symptom: There are certain instances when website refers to another URL and the other URL as a service, is not available (due to any issue on website owners end) in such cases WSA seems to wait ( and not load the original page) until it determines that the other website is not available. This causes delay in accessing the page. Expectation is that the WSA should load the page immediately even if the other URL/service is not available, just as the browser loads it without WSA in the network path. Having a configurable timeout value will help reduce the wait time. Conditions: Issue can be reproduced on WSA version 11.7.0-418 and when a URL refers to another URL/service that is not available. example: When URL www.bdm.qld.gov.au/eBirthNotices/login.m is accessed via WSA, it seems to contact another URL: secure.justice.qld.gov.au, this service is un-available and due to this the WSA does not load the page for next 55 seconds until it get service unavailable error 503.
