Description (partial)

1. NTP appears to fail to sync to the server. This is not true; it is just a display issue. A fault is seen in Cisco APIC.
2. NTPD is not running on the leaf switches, which causes NTP to fail to sync to the server. A fault is seen in Cisco APIC.
3. NTP cores on applying new policies, which leads to a HAP reset.

This issue occurs if any of the following conditions are met:

1. Duplicate (both IP and DNS name) server entries are added to the NTP policy on the Cisco APIC.
2. No duplicates in this case, but the DNS server has a cluster of servers to resolve to.
3. Combination of both 1 and 2.
