Symptom: VIC 13xx can hang during normal operation with a core file saved. In the VIC adapter logs we will see a message similar to: 191107-20:22:53.630270 mcp.sa_log ERROR: ASSERT (NOT IMPL) (rc == 0) @ sa_timer.c:141 191107-20:22:53.630438 mcp.mcp ERROR: : Received Segmentation fault 191107-20:22:53.630453 mcp.mcp Releasing PCIe for hosts to boot after mcp fault 191107-20:22:53.630877 mcp.app_wdog wdog1 kicked at t=1653390039056266 v=661066 This will cause all the vNICs/ vHBAs to hang until the server is rebooted. Conditions: The condition to hit this is not known but a fix in a future release will ensure that the processes on the VIC do not cause it to hang in the same manner, but recover gracefully. It will also add logging to capture This is considered a corner-case as there is only 1 known instance of this type of hang so far.
