Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Content Security Management Appliance

Known Affected Releases

12.5.0-633 12.5.0-636

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Unable to join/re-join a WSA to the SMA and receiving the following errors:
- (3, 'Could not find matching key exchange algorithm.')
- Unexpected EOF on connect

Configuration pushes to WSAs with the same SSHD configuration that have already been joined to the SMA work correctly.

Conditions:
The WSA's sshconfig->sshd configuration has been modified from the defaults.

If the diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 and diffie-hellman-group14-sha1 has been removed from the KEX algorithms, the SMA will present the following error on join: (3, 'Could not find matching key exchange algorithm.')

If the diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 or/and diffie-hellman-group14-sha1 KEX algorithm is present and the 3des-cbc and/or blowfish-cbc cipher algorithms have been removed, the SMA will present the following error on join: Unexpected EOF on connect
