Cisco Bug: CSCvs14629 - VVB Stale Sessions May Trigger Heap Dump

Last Modified

Dec 04, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise

Known Affected Releases

11.5(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
On VVB the repetitive timer which is scheduled to run every 100ms may not wake up.
This scheduled job is to clean up stale timer objects of calls which have ended.
This will cause Call Contexts of SIP_SS and JASMIN and other associated objects to not clear up from memory by garbage collection.
The Timer Object in SIP_SS has reference to CallImpl which has reference to other others in JASMIN layer.

This will cause heap memory to buildup.

Conditions:
Per heap dump, SIP_SS and JASMIN layers call contexts were not removed from memory when calls ended
