Last Modified

Sep 16, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS)

Known Affected Releases

X8.10

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When CUCM is added to VCS/Expressway-C in Configuration >> Unified Communications >> Unified CM servers, a series of entries is added to the HTTP allow list at Configuration >> Unified Communications >> HTTP allow list >> Automatic inbound rules.
Unnecessary POST Method for the CUCM TFTP server on HTTP is added.
There is no need to allow the POST method for the CUCM (TFTP) service on either TCP ports 6970 or 6972 as the CUCM TFTP service does not support the POST method.

Conditions:
Normal installation on X8.10-X12.5.6
CUCM added to VCS/Expressway-C in Configuration >> Unified Communications >> Unified CM servers
