Description (partial)

On vedge-cloud platform that uses DPDK virtio pid driver. vedge cloud stops receiving packets in the ingress direction

when vedge-cloud receive multi-seg packets, there is an existing bug that may cause dpdk pet mbuf's buf_len to be set 128 bytes more than it is. When this happens, vhost-net may write more than the pkt mbuf can hold and therefore cause the next mbuf's first 64 bytes to be overwritten. when the corrupted packet mbuf are used for virtio driver's receive buf, vhost will complain and stops sending to vedge-cloud.
