Symptom: Jabber in Desktop receives the duplicate unread messages even though the same message is read already. The scenario is as below : Step-1: User A logs in on the iPhone mobile device and goes to silent mode/locked mode. Step-2: User B-logs into jabber and sends a message to User A and user A receives the push notification for the chat on jabber iPhone's screen. Note: User A will not open the chat by clicking the notification received on the iPhone screen. Step-3: User A logs in on Jabber windows - It receives a message from step-2. Step-4: User A reads the message and logout from jabber windows. Step-5: User A desktop device login back - he receives message from step 2 once again as an unread message even though the same message was read in step-4. Step-6: Logout desktop client Step-7: Read the message from iPhone-jabber Step-6: login desktop client and now userA will NOT receive the same message as an unread message as this was read on iPhone- jabber already. Conditions: Messages which are read already will be delivered as unread messages on Jabber-Desktop if the same user has not read that Push chat on Jabber-iPhone.
