Cisco Bug: CSCvs09160 - Redistribution from OSPF to BGP is failing in vEdge when policy is being applied
Sep 11, 2020
- Cisco vEdge Router
- Cisco vEdge Router Model
Known Affected Releases
18.3.5 18.4.1 20.1.0
Symptom: vEdge is failing to redistribute prefixes from OSPF into BGP when a policy is applied. The policy is configured to deny the prefixes that contain a specific tag and permit everything else. However, when this policy is applied all the prefixes, even those that are not tagged are denied. The configuration looks like this: bgp 9973 propagate-aspath address-family ipv4-unicast redistribute ospf route-policy OSPF_TO_BGP ! policy route-policy OSPF_TO_BGP sequence 1 match ospf-tag 65000 ! action reject ! ! default-action accept ! All prefixes from OSPF are rejected, even those that are not tagged with 65000. Conditions: redistribution from OSPF to BGP using policy to reject prefixes by TAG and accept everything else.
