Cisco Bug: CSCvr94401 - BGP Routes were removed of SDWAN Config but not of IOS config

Last Modified

Mar 17, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco XE SD-WAN Routers

Known Affected Releases

16.12.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When we do a show run | sec bgp in the cEdge, we have this output:

Router#sh run | sec bgp
!! Omitting non-relevant config !!!
router bgp
 !
 address-family ipv4 vrf
  network 10.106.112.0 mask 255.255.255.0
  network 10.106.112.0 mask 255.255.254.0

When we do "show sdwan running-config | sec router bgp" we found the following:
router#sh sdwan running-config | sec router bgp
!!Omitting non-relevant config!!
router bgp 65400
 bgp log-neighbor-changes
  network 10.106.112.0 mask 255.255.254.0

This is causing BGP to advertise two prefixed one with longer and one with shorter match.

Conditions:
Happens on a cEdge with 16.12.1d
