Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
In some scenarios, DCNM pipeline.log keeps reporting error messages like this from a DCNM managed SAN device:

time="yyyy-mm-dd xx:yy:zz.abcdef" level=warning msg="Unable to fetch endpoint: {345.678.901.234 12 345678 9}" tag=pipeline
time="yyyy-mm-dd xx:yy:zz.abcdef" level=error msg="Failed to translate the message as per parser.json" elastic="<Private URL>" error="Error fetching initiator WWN data. Skipping message." name=mymetrics tag=pipeline workers=11 xport_type=elastic

Conditions:
DCNM discovery takes few minutes after the new host logs in starts traffic. Counters streamed for ITLs prior to discovery causes it.
