Description (partial)

1. The customer setup consists of a CISCO3945-CHASSIS with 2 PS PWR-3900-POE in boost mode ( no power inline redundant) , there are 3 ESM modules inserted on the router- 2 SM-ES3G-24-P on slot 1 and 2 , and SM-D-ES3G-48-P on slot 4.
2. After allocating approx. 480Watt of power, when more poe devices are connected on modules in slot 1 and 2, we get power denied:
%ILPOWER-7-DETECT: Interface Gi0/11: Power Device detected: IEEE PD
%ILPOWER-5-ILPOWER_POWER_DENY: Interface Gi0/11: inline power denied
3. But If same POE devices are connected to empty slots on module 4, there is no such issue.
4. The modules in slot 1 and 2 don't even get power when module 4 is removed from the router.

When the router has the POE supplies in boost mode and has POE devices connected to 24 ports ES modules.
