Known Affected Releases

11.0.0-274 11.0.1-027

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Customer is observing 400 bad request when clicking Graymail Unsubscribe links. Refer enclosure for rewritten graymail unsubscribe URLs.

Conditions:
This occurs when three conditions are met:

1) The email must be triggering an incoming content filter having action as "Add/Edit Header" with rule as "edit-header-text("From", "(.*)", "\"[EXTERNAL]\"\\1")"

The above rule means the customer is trying to prepend [EXTERNAL] to the value of "From" header where the word "[External]" is taken as example.

2) The email must have matched an incoming mail policy with Graymail Safe Unsubscribe Feature enabled.

3) The email must be having an "unsubscribe" link and gets rewritten by "Graymail Unsubscribe" feature.
