Description (partial)

Symptom:
f you create a workflow with (When making a call) action configured with Type (Browser Pop) Then adding DNIS as variable in Browser URL. After configuring that, if you dial numbers from finesse desktop, pop browser will show up but without reflecting DNIS number. I tried using another variable like (extension) it worked fine and was reflected successfully to browser pop URL.

Using UCCX 11.6

Conditions:
reproducible with UCCX 11.6

make sure to assign created action to workflow, then to assign workflow to the team that agent is part of

create a workflow with (When making a call) action configured with Type (Browser Pop) Then adding DNIS as variable in Browser URL. After configuring that, if you dial numbers from finesse desktop, pop browser will show up but without reflecting DNIS number.

Make sure of all that, then logout, login again to finesse and try it.
