Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

10.5(2.10000.5) 11.5(1.13901.3) 11.5(1.13902.2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
1. Tested on CUCM versions 10.5.2.10000-5, 11.5.1.13901-3 and 11.5.1.13902-2.
2. +E.164 Alternate Number field on the line on a port of a MGCP (VG224/ VG350) Gateway is not updated when imported using BAT.
3. Test scenario:
     1. Create a new VG350 MGCP gateway on CUCM.
     2. Add an ANALOG module to slot 2 or slot 4.
     3. Configure any 1 port, add a DN to it.
     4. On that DN, add a +E.164 Alternate number (add a number mask under "+E.164 Alternate Number" field).
     5. Export this gateway using BAT >> Import/ Export >> Gateway option.
     6. Once exported, download that TAR file to your PC.
     7. Upload the same TAR file to the CUCM again.
     8. Delete the gateway, port and DN created in previous steps.
     9. Import the uploaded TAR file in Step 7.
     10. Check under Device >> Gateway >> Select the imported Gateway >> Go to the port >> Open the DN >> It can be seen that the +E.164 mask (alternate number) is not there anymore, even when the same file has been first exported and then imported back through BAT.

Conditions:
