Description (partial)

Symptom:
In a span session if the source interface is sup-eth0 and destination interface is on f3 , then the f3 destination port goes to hardware failure state.

Conditions:
This happens only if there is a span session configured with source interface as sup-eth0 and destination interface on F3.

Configuration-
monitor session 10 
  source interface sup-eth0 rx           <<<< source interface must be inband 
  rate-limit auto
  destination interface Ethernet10/2      <<<< destination port to be on F3.
  no shut
