Symptom: After the cluster master switcover: 1. PIM group-to-RP mappings on multicast-enabled devices are timing out and eventually are removed from the mapping table. 2. Multicast PIM Auto-RP packets are silently dropped on the new cluster master. Packets to 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206 addresses arrive on the ingress interface but do not leave the firewall via the egress interface. 3. Mutlicast-enabled device do to receive multicast data plane traffic. Conditions: - Mutlicast routing is enabled on the firewall. - PIM Auto-RP is used to propagate multicast control plane traffic. - Cluster master switched over.
