Cisco Bug: CSCvi59235 - There is no error checking in Smaconfig, and it can lock out your SMA
Jun 18, 2018
- Cisco Email Security Appliance
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If you are unable to get your SMA to communication with your ESAs and/or WSAs, this can occur if you made a mistake when running the smaconfig command on the ESA/WSA. Conditions: This requires pasting an invalid key into the smaconfig entry. In particular pasting the "Key: "portion that we display in our dialog to copy to the appliance, is one situation that will cause this problem.
