Description (partial)

Symptom:
Node-protection is not working as expected with MoFRR + Multicast multipath, we have seen a situation where for one multicast group the Active and Backup path point to the same upstream device while we have ECMP with more than one upstream device.

Conditions:
The IOS-XR edge device is configured with MoFRR, Multicast Multipath and command "isis route source first-hop"
 as per CSCuq69280
ECMP linked to more than one device.
The problem was triggered with PIM restart.
