Known Affected Releases
Symptom: A module fails ISSU/D due to hardware errors but is still allowed to come online after being reset. The following syslog message is logged after the ISSU/D failure: <pre> %FIB-SLOT2-3-ERR: 05:23:01 Failed ADJ recovery [0x70000, 0x70000] %FIB-SLOT2-3-ERR: 05:23:01 Failed to recover buddy table from adjacency table fffffffbh, FIB exiting! %ACL-2-ACL_TCAM_FAILURE: Failed to do TCAM operation: upgrade over message for module 1 failed with error: 0x804e0001. %VMM-2-VMM_SERVICE_ERR: VDC1: Service SAP ACL manager for slot 2 returned error 0x804e0001 (Operation not permitted) in upgrade sequence %MODULE-2-LCM_UPGRADE_OVER_FAIL: Upgrade over message returned 1 0x804e0001 for SAP Im SAP %USER-2-SYSTEM_MSG: "Module(s) 3, 4, 7 still need to be upgraded" - new_installer </pre> Conditions: This issue only occurs when a module with latent hardware issues undergoes an ISSU/D.
