Symptom: This bug has been filed to evaluate the product Cisco TelePresence Server 7010 and MSE 8710 ; Cisco TelePresence Server on Multiparty Media 310 and 320 ; Cisco TelePresence Server on Multiparty Media 820 ; Cisco TelePresence Server on Virtual Machine against multiple CPU Side-Channel Information Disclosure Vulnerabilities disclosed on January 3rd, identified by CVE IDs: CVE-2017-5754 - Rogue Data Cache Load Side-Channel Information Disclosure Vulnerability (aka Meltdown) Cisco has evaluated the impact of the vulnerability on this product and concluded that the product is not affected. As part of ongoing continuous product hardening, the underlying Operating System of the devices is being updated to mitigate all known Meltdown attacks. Conditions: A device running a version of software prior to one which contains the resolutions for CVE-2017-5754.
