Description (partial)

An ASA will fail to pass a multicast stream if the payload is ip-proto 50 (ESP). The ASA itself is not configured to do any crypto actions, but the packet processing will still treat the ESP packet as something terminating on the ASA and it will drop the packet citing 'np-sp-invalid-spi' as the reason. Unicast ESP traffic *through* the ASA is unaffected.
