Cisco Bug: CSCvi15594 - Mixed service object-groups are divided in CLI without reference to parent object

Last Modified

Aug 14, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Firepower Management Center

Known Affected Releases

6.2.2.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
LINA configuration can only take service object-groups where the port-objects are all TCP, UDP or both. When configured mixed objects in FMC these are break down into smaller objects when deployed in FTD.
This causes that the original objects aren't referred at the CLI configuration.

For configuration consistency, these objects should have a description with the name of the object of reference under the access-control policy and/or a warning on FMC informing of this change

Conditions:
FMC deploys service object-groups that combine different types of protocols under it
