Description (partial)

Symptom:
A Nexus 5000/6000 switch running FCoE can experience drop in data traffic because of congestion and can also experience Virtual Fiber Channel (VFC) interface down situation.

Message like below can be seen in the logs
%PORT-5-IF_TRUNK_DOWN: %$VSAN 11%$ Interface vfc100, vsan 11 is down (waiting for flogi) 

Conditions:
Interface has Priority Flow Control (PFC) feature disabled.

In the output of show hardware internal buffer-info pkt-stats asic-num <x> check for cell utilization in Class2 and Class 3.

x- asic which maps the interface port.
