Cisco Bug: CSCvi07184 - SenderGroups to validate TLS and SBRS
Mar 19, 2018
- Cisco Email Security Appliance
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The Host Allocation Table (HAT) operates in an ACL fashion top down, first hit wins. A user may define domains and IP address to be classified into a specific custom SenderGroup. If this SenderGroup is above the system defined SenderGroups that utilize SBRS it is possible to the IP address (by domain or specifically designated) will not be validated against SBRS. The SenderGroup should validate SBRS and apply flow policy actions like throttling. Conditions: Within a SenderGroup, if a list of IPs/Domains are added, there is no way to validate SBRS for this list. Today it only process one of the checks. Either TLS_Required OR SBRS and not both.
