Cisco Bug: CSCvi06393 - The interface type details missing in the cli for BVI interface

Last Modified

Aug 11, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

4.3.3.BASE

Description (partial)

The interface type details are missing in the show uidb index cli for some specific interface types (e.g., BVI)

Symptom:
The interface type details displayed by the SHOW UIDB INDEX LOCATION <> [<interface>] are blank for some interface types, such as BVI interfaces

Conditions:
There are no special conditions for this issue. Some of the various interface types do work correctly for this command, such as physical interfaces, bundle interfaces, and vlan sub-interfaces. But other interface types like BVI and PWHE do not display the correct type information.

Here is an example of the output:

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:exr#sh uidb index location 0/1/cPU0 bvi 1
