Known Affected Releases

6.4.1.BASE 6.5.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Transient traceback about an attempt to impose label stack greater than supported range. Tracebacks are transient, and is seen very rarely during interface flap (core Bundle-Ether links) via a script or LC OIR, pointing to a transient state. This can happen since there could be packets already in flight (during the interface flap) that could be using forwarding information that might not be valid anymore (by the time an attempt is made to switch the packet out). No impact to forwarding. The packet in question is dropped, which is the expected and right action to take in this case.

Conditions:
Trigger is flapping the core Bundle-Ether links or LC OIR
