Symptom: ZFS snapshots remain attached to the file system after a file system backup fails. The ZFS snapshots record all changes made to the file system, and leaving them will eventually fill up the file system. Conditions: Unknown. There are many safeguards in the backupFileSystem script, it is unclear why the backup script failed to clean up the snapshots on dpool.
