Symptom: The following traceback is seen when removing PIM-related configuration - 2018 Feb 9 13:46:18 N9K-Spine-3 %PIM-3-KSINK_API_FAILED_HA: disable - ksink_pss_delete:No access to PSS database 0xf6a26c34, data file: data, uri: 2018 Feb 9 13:46:18 N9K-Spine-3 %PIM-3-API_FAILED_HA: -Traceback: libksink_sysmgr.so=0xf6a09000 libksink_sysmgr.so+0xe8eb pim=0x10034000 0x1009f386 0x10235600 0x10271973 0x1018f378 libcli_common.so=0xf62de000 libcli_common.so+0x1e302 libcli_common.so+0x44ed4 libcli_common.so+0x458* This has been seen when removing "ip pim rp address" from global configs or removing "ip pim sparse-mode" from interface config. In our testbed this is consistently reproducible. PIM functionality does not seem to be impacted. PIM neighbors / routes do not seem to be impacted. PIM process does not crash. Conditions: PIM is configured, PIM neighbors are up and PIM routes are populated. Multicast traffic does not need to be currently forwarded by the switch to see the traceback.
