Cisco Bug: CSCvh92814 - Flexconnect vlan templates vlan name config redirecting to incorrect page in controller GUI

Last Modified

Nov 25, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

8.8(1.53)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Flexconnect vlan templates vlan name config redirecting to incorrect page in controller GUI

Conditions:
1. Load controller with 8.8.1.53.

2. In wlc GUI, Go to
	Wireless -> Flexconnect vlan templates -> New -> <vlan template name> -> Apply
	Click on the <vlan template name> -> New Mapping -> Give vlan name(ex:first_vlan_id) and vlan 1-> Apply.
	Same way, create another one (ex. second_vlan_id & vlan : 2) -> apply

	Click on the second vlan name id (second_vlan_id) ->click 'APPLY'

its throwing pop-up 'Given vlan map already configured' and redirecting the page to 'VLAN Template > Maps > New' which is unexpected.
and the redirected page text fields contains values of the first vlan name (first_vlan_id).

GUI should not redirect the 'VLAN Template > Maps > Edit 'page to 'VLAN Template > Maps > New' page on click of 'APPLY' with values of another vlan name.
GUI should stay on same page or should back to 'VLAN Template > Edit' page.

Expected Behavior:
====================
GUI should not redirect the 'VLAN Template > Maps > Edit 'page to 'VLAN Template > Maps > New' page on click of 'APPLY' with values of another vlan name.
GUI should stay on same page or should back to 'VLAN Template > Edit' page.
