Description (partial)

Symptom:
we often seen in cases where customer want to change retention days for existing recordings. It comes very misleading, because template change apply only to new recordings. Assuming current retention is 180 days

- after increasing it to 365 days, customer has to wait another 365 days to see recordings from year ago. When common sense tells existing recording should be preserved up to 365 days instead of 180

- after decreasing retention to 90 days, Cu has to wait another 180 days for old recordings to be deleted. While common sense tells, the recordings older than 90 days should be removed immediately

Finally, the worst case scenario is change from 'Max possible' to fixed days. Because recordings created with 'Max possible' retention has no expire time, they persist on disk theoretically endless.
