Description (partial)

Symptom:
Enabling SSL hardware acceleration on a managed device that does not have active SSL policy results in poor performance compared to disabling SSL hardware acceleration. (An active SSL policy is a policy with at least one SSL action rule.)

We recommend you enable SSL hardware acceleration only on devices that decrypt SSL traffic.

Conditions:
A performance degradation compared to a device running with hardware SSL inspection disabled occurs when:

- SSL policy active with at least one Decrypt - Resign rule
- SSL hardware acceleration is enabled
