Last Modified

Products (1)
- Cisco Telepresence Integrator C Series
Known Affected Releases
8.2.x 9.2.x
Description (partial)
Symptom: '/Presentation/Byod/Refresh' log information seen in All.log While initiating a presentation share it appears that when a device is connected via Proximity, this message is being sent out every second. This is excessive, if we can mitigate these messages from spamming the all.log // Tested in the lab on CE 9.2.3 and CE 8.2.2 to confirm this but Refresh rate error 2018-01-17T04:32:13.210+00:00 SEPE4AA5DA253D0 appl[1820]: 1687.71 CuilApp User root about to execute command '/Presentation/Byod/Refresh' from 10.77.191.163. 2018-01-17T04:32:13.691+00:00 SEPE4AA5DA253D0 appl[1820]: 1688.19 CuilApp User root about to execute command '/Presentation/Byod/Refresh' from 10.77.191.163. 2018-01-17T04:32:14.102+00:00 SEPE4AA5DA253D0 appl[1820]: 1688.60 CuilApp User root about to execute command '/Presentation/Byod/Refresh' from 10.77.191.163. 2018-01-17T04:32:14.514+00:00 SEPE4AA5DA253D0 appl[1820]: 1689.01 CuilApp User root about to execute command '/Presentation/Byod/Refresh' from 10.77.191.163. Request for the proximity updates. If we cannot reduce their frequency, then we could at least put those updates in a separate log, to prevent bloating the all.log. Preventing it from showing in the all.log which would allow more logging time before things get overwritten in the all.log. Conditions: Codec on CE 8.x.x and 9.x.x
