Cisco Bug: CSCvh88906 - Guest IPv6 IRCM: AireOS anchor sends malformed IPV6 ACL name in Export Anchor Ack
Nov 25, 2018
- Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Guest clients cannot connect (get excluded) in wireless setup with WLC as Anchor controller and veWLC as Foreign controller, if the guest wlan is configured with aaa-override and IPv6 redirect ACL. Conditions: This behaviour is observed when the guest wlan is configured with aaa-override and an IPv6 redirect ACL. When a guest client connects, WLC anchor controller is sending to veWLC foreign a malformed IPV6 ACL name in Export Anchor Ack message, which results in veWLC foreign excluding the client. Recovery: The client that was excluded needs to wait for the exclusion timeout to expire and then connect a guest wlan that doesn't have aaa-override and IPv6 ACL configured at the same time.
