Cisco Bug: CSCvh85805 - Need BGP PIC behavior in 6PE case, when out label is the same (ipv6 explicit-null)
Aug 11, 2019
- Cisco Network Convergence System 5500 Series
Known Affected Releases
6.2.3.BASE 6.3.2.BASE 6.5.1.BASE
Symptom: High convergence if IGP path is broken in 6PE ECMP scenario Conditions: A 6PE prefix having 2 BGP next hops, and each BGP next hop being reachable over 2 ECMP IGP paths, LWLDI creates the FEC. This results in high convergence when one of the IGP paths is broken, even though the outgoing label for all the 6PE prefixes is ipv6 explicit null.
