Last Modified

Sep 12, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco ME 3800X Series Carrier Ethernet Switch Routers

Known Affected Releases

15.5(3)S5.5

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The reported precision factor using SNMP get/wallk is =1 whereas it shall be 0.
we (EPNM assurance team) have detected that there's a discordance with ME36xx ,38xx (examined both 15.5(3) S5,S6b) SNMP reply for entSensorValueTable
(in CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB) vs. Device's CLI results.
we use it for following calculation of sensor temperature:
TEMPERATURE =  entSensorValue*10^(-entSensorPrecision + 3*(entSensorScale - 9))

Conditions:
snmpwalk
