Description (partial)

An IOS or IOS-XE device my reload unexpectedly. The following error will probalby be included in the crashinfo (or on console)

%SYS-2-CHUNKBADREFCOUNT: Bad chunk reference count, chunk FF9EF8B518 data FF9EF97B38 refcount FFFFFFFF alloc pc AAB0A8FDA0. -Process= "Virtual Exec", ipl= 0, pid= 430

The Process name may vary, but the refcount should match FFFFFFFF

This has been seen with certain features that consume vty's, such as PNP and Guestshell. When those features use those VTY's, subsequent actions, such as telnet or ssh that require vty's also, may cause the device to crash (with pretty high reproduciblity).
