Symptom: When device sends a DHCP packet, it creates and sends the client-id using MAC_ADDR, SYSTEM_SERIAL_NUM, MODEL_NUM and lastly with the string iPXE to DHCP server. But in case of C9400, the SYSTEM_SERIAL_NUMBER is empty. If the DHCP server is configured to use only the SYSTEM_SERIAL_NUM, it will be unable to identify the client. Conditions: Catalyst 9400: DHCP request from C9400 SUP (both SUP in case of redundant systems) while coming up and network booting over iPXE is configured.
