Cisco Bug: CSCvh72014 - Incorrect display of dial alias in TMS booking

Last Modified

Sep 16, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco TelePresence Management Server

Known Affected Releases

15.6 15.6.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If numeric id is changed due to editing the conference in TMS, the last page after hit save shows the following information.

The conference has been saved.
Conference Title: XXX
Conference ID: XXX

Participant(s):
XXX
XXX
...

The participants will connect using this route:

for example:
XXX ... (SIP: XXX@domain)

This dial alias inside of parentheses shows older numeric id before the change.

Conditions:
1. numeric ID quantity is small enough so TMS is allocating the same numeric id to two different conferences.
2. if one of the conference is edited to overlap with the other one, then TMS changes the edited conference's numeric ID.
(this is expected behavior)

However, in TMS 15.6.0 the confirmation page after hitting save button, it still shows older numeric id.

Note: If checking it from connection settings tab, it shows the correct new numeric id.
Also, if you edit again for other changes, then "The participants will connect using this route:" section shows correct numeric id.
