Symptom:
Currently for IOS, IOS-XE and NX-OS, NTP only supports MD5 authentication and there is documentation stating this:   https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/bsm/command/bsm-cr-book/bsm-cr-n1.html#wp2286071162

Customer would like to support NIST approved HMAC algorithms which include the following "SHA-1, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, SHA-512/224, and SHA-512/256"

Seen this with  CISCO IOS-XE Platform but this is visible in all platform including IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS
