Symptom:
Micron M.2 boot drive with model string "Mircon_5100_MTFDDAV240TCB" and PID:UCS-M2-240GB  is not recognized by UCSM i.e.  reported as uknown/unsupported device.

Conditions:
Following conditions need to be true for this:
i)Micron M.2 boot drive 
ii)PID: UCS-M2-240GB
iii)Model string (FRU of the drive has this string programmed):Mircon_5100_MTFDDAV240TCB
