Cisco Bug: CSCvh69618 - 7925 displays configuring IP even after a successful DHCP failover

Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Cisco 7925 wireless phones display "configuring IP" on the display even though the phone has a valid and working IP address (the phone is registered, can receive and place phone calls, and can be pinged). Conditions: Occurs after the 7925 phone fails over to a different DHCP server than it previously had an IP address from. As long as the phone number (directory number) is still displayed on the top right of the screen, this is consmetic and the phone can still be used while the "configuring IP" address message is on the screen.
