  • Cisco IOS

Known Affected Releases

42.2(1)DSP

Description (partial)

Symptom:
ISR4000 series router's NLP and Echo-Canceller suppress DTMF signal in dialing stage.
When ISR4000 series router receives DTMF for dialed digits from calling party, ISR4K will provide dial-tone to calling party. If the input signal level(DTMF) and output signal level(dial-tone) fulfill the requirement of NLP and Echo-Canceller, NLP and Echo-Cancel will suppress DTMF signal so that the call can't be connected correctly.

Conditions:
NLP or Echo-Canceller is enabled on ISR4000 series router NIM DSP.
