Cisco Bug: CSCvh63863 - Incomplete Post PnP Clean up

Last Modified

Oct 19, 2018

Products (1)

Known Affected Releases

DNAC1.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
During the completion of LAN automation process for any fabric switch, DNAC is expected to execute some Post PnP commands on fabric switches. It takes care for most of the commands but following some are not removed:

###################
pnp profile pnp-zero-touch
 transport https ipv4 <DNAC_IP> port 443

 ip route <DNAC_IP> <netmask> <seed_device_loopback0>

ntp server <DNAC_IP>
###################

NTP server information has no impact because it is overwritten during device provisioning phase but static route and pnp profile remain there until manually removed.

This has been constantly observed in DNAC Version 1.1 and fabric switches were Cat3850 and Cat9300 release 16.6.2s for both.

Conditions:
This behavior has been observed during internal testing.
