Cisco Bug: CSCvh60806 - Intrusion Rule behaviour change on 6.X codes.
Jan 08, 2020
- Cisco Firepower Management Center
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: On Firepower software version 6.2.X, if we filter the local rules with a specific SID, the UI will not only display the SID that is being searched, but it will also display other SIDs, also it will not highlight or place the searched rule on top of the list which might cause confusion or difficulties for the end user to locate the rule. Conditions: Firepower Management Center (FMC) running code 6.2.x. If the user navigates to Objects > Intrusion Rules and selects "Local Rules" under "Group Rules By" and then tries to filter with a specific SID the FMC will not display the rule that is being searched. Additionaly, the rule is not placed on top or highlighted by the rule editor, which might cause confusion or make difficult to find the rule.
