Cisco Bug: CSCvh59431 - Byte counters for physical interface and subinterface don't match
Aug 09, 2019
- Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Difference is seen between the byte counters reported on CLI and snmpwalk for a physical interface and its child subinterface. On running show interface and show vlans dot1q , the bytes counters under both of these don't match. Conditions: Execute show interface and show vlans dot1q , we can see a difference in bytes counters. On running a snmp-walk for both the physical interface and its child subinterface we can see the same behavior reflected. Kindly note that the packets counter is same for both show interface and show vlans cli.
